Nestled in the heart of Houston’s Theater District, The Ballroom at Bayou Place is downtown Houston’s largest private event venue. With over 15,000 square feet of configurable event space, The Ballroom is expertly equipped to host large corporate functions, dream weddings and other social events, but is equally capable of catering to the details of the most intimate gatherings.

 

With floor-to-ceiling windows and sweeping balconies, guests are treated to a striking backdrop of the Houston skyline with the ability to create an open-air environment to enjoy the view.

 

Customer service is our creed. At The Ballroom, we strive to remove the stress that comes with planning and hosting an event. As our client, we will work in partnership with you to ensure that your needs are met and that the ultimate customer—your guest or clients—are treated to an unforgettable experience.

The Ballroom is managed by event industry veteran Craig Howard. Howard is a Houston native with 40+ years of experience producing and managing events. He has lead teams by directing events for companies such as The Ritz Carlton and Cirque du Soleil that are known for their world-class events, as well as, managed several large-scale event centers. Also noteworthy, Howard has directed events for four Super Bowls.

Our doors are always open to you. When bringing your vision,
for an event to life sometimes you just need a visual—we, understand.
Throughout your planning process and prior
to your event for set up, we will be here with doors open.

Our staff is at your disposal. The physical labor associated with set up
and tear down can be a drag. Our in-house team will be ready
and willing to assist with your move in, set up and tear down.

Our space is completely customizable. The Ballroom is a blank canvas
with unceasing potential. We treat each event as a unique
experience and will work with you to ensure that our
space is transformed to fulfill your event needs from
details in décor to branding.

When it comes to food and drinks, we will be flexible. The Ballroom
has a full mixed beverage liquor license and offers a variety of options
including cash, hosted, and premium bar packages. While
The Ballroom partners with a number of Houston’s premiere caterers,
The Ballroom will also consider approving caterers that are outside
of our partnerships to ensure your culinary and budgetary needs
are met. This will ensure that your event will have a full service
catering experience, regardless of the food that is served, so the
set up, execution and breakdown of your event are flawless.

You can park with ease. Guests will have access to a valet
location and Bayou Place sits atop a 4,000 space
Theatre District garage, with elevator access
directly into the venue.
